Marco holds a doctorate in molecular biology and is licensed as a German Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney and European Trademark & Design Attorney. 

After studying biology and molecular biology, he gained experience in research and development at university research institutions and in the biotechnology and medical device industry. 

He is the author of numerous original articles in the field of regenerative medicine and oncology, and is listed as inventor on several patent families.

Having completed his training as a Patent Attorney at renowned IP law firms in Munich, Dr. Thurner now leverages his experience in research and development as well as IP law as the founder and owner of law firm Thurner IP.
