Marco holds a doctorate in molecular biology and is licensed as a European Patent Attorney before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
After studying biology and molecular biology, he gained experience in research and development at university research institutions and in the biotechnology and medical device industry.
He is the author of numerous original articles in the field of regenerative medicine and oncology, and is listed as inventor on several patent families.
Having completed his training as a European Patent Attorney at renowned patent law firms in Munich, Dr. Thurner now leverages his experience in research and development as well as patent law as the founder and European Patent Attorney of the law firm Thurner IP e.U.
